Pleasant corner bar over two subway lines.
Directions – Directly outside the L train at Lorimer Street and the G train at Metropolitan Avenue (same station complex).
A pleasant, welcoming corner bar well positioned for easy access on the subway where the G and L lines intersect. The central island bar has 10 taps on each side back-to-back. Apart from stools at the bar, seating is at a mixture of tables and booths, with a small, raised, snug-like area at the rear. This is a mellow and enjoyable place to visit, with a fair range of craft beers. It is a very convenient starting or finishing point (if taking the subway) for a crawl of craft beer centric Williamsburg. (3/2015)
First visit April 2016. We only popped in for one, but it's a lovely corner bar with a really good list and I'm happy to recommend it. Next time we hope to have more time!
