An upmarket cocktail and oyster bar, but with a small number of very well chosen beers (bottles are mainly imports).
Directions - A / C / G train to Hoyt-Schemerhorn Streets, take the western (Hoyt-Schemerhorn corner) exit, walk south on Hoyt Street one short block. Alternatively, 2 / 3 train to Hoyt Street, take one of the western (Hoyt, Fulton, or Bridge Street) exits, walk south on Hoyt Street (which is south of Fulton and Bridge Streets) three blocks. Note, if coming from the 2 / 3, you will pass Livingston Manor (q.v.).
Big on cocktails and oysters (there is a menu for different types or sources of oysters), this upmarket place also has a small but very eclectic range of craft beers. The taps are mainly domestic, while the bottles are mainly European imports. There is a locally brewed house stout brewed by Folksbier. Can get lively at night. (11/2015)
