An airy craft beer hall with a well chosen range.

Directions – 4 / 5 / 6 / N / Q / R train to 59th Street or Lexington Avenue-59th Street (same station, different lines have slightly different names), exit at East 60th Street, walk east three blocks, turn left on 1st Avenue. Up a short flight of steps is this airy beer hall with benches and long tables. The beers are well chosen and interesting, and the taps are individually controlled by a flux capacitator unit. Cask beer is dispensed from a beer engine mounted at the back of the bar. There is a central popcorn machine, and table tennis and pinball at the rear. (8/2016, updated 10/2016)
