A sports bar with good beer. 48 taps, the majority being craft (14 are not), including a healthy number of Belgians. Many good bottles also.
Directions - L train to Bedford Avenue, take the Bedford Avenue exit (at the rear of trains coming from Manhattan), walk south on Bedford Avenue, turn right on Grand Street. Alternatively, J, M, or Z train to Marcy Avenue, take the Havemeyer Street (west) exit, head north on Havemeyer Street and turn left on Grand Street to just past Wythe Avenue. From the East River ferry at North Williamsburg, walk east on the slip road (North 6th Street), turn right on Kent Avenue, turn left on Grand Street.
Alex says
48 taps, about 70% of which are craft beer. Serious sports bar meets serious beer bar. The kitchen and Carrara marble topped bar are on the left side, with a big (234 seat) dining area on the right with multiple TVs – both divided by a brick partition. Part of a small chain that was founded on Long Island. (1/2015)
