A smart, dimly lit bar loyal to New York breweries. Bar snacks are available – pretzels and pressed sandwiches (the cheese one is disappointing in being processed American slices). Almost triangular in shape, it is small and cosy with a snug at one end. There are DJ nights, as evidenced by the pair of turntables behind the bar. Mellow and relaxing, it can be a suntrap as it faces west and the buildings opposite are low. The bar is situated as close to a subway entrance as is possible. (3/2015)
