Steeped in history, this is the place where President Washington bid farewell to his Lieutenants. There are multiple rooms including a whisky bar and a museum on the premises. Ask for a sample of the cask before ordering as temperature has been an issue since Hurricane Sandy destroyed the cooling system in the cellar. (2/2015)

First visit April 2016 and we were impressed. Much better beer list than we were expecting - we thought it was going to be quite touristy, but the list was full of quality offerings from breweries such as Hill Farmstead and Hudson Valley. Lunch was also good, and throw in a visit to the museum upstairs and this all makes for an excellent place to visit.
