Alex says
This is a huge, tall-ceilinged Irish-owned bar with a rear upstairs section with balconies. There’s a large range of craft bottles to choose from, though mostly fairly common ones. Despite its size, it gets busy with the after work crowd, many of whom I imagine are stopping off before their commute home from nearby Penn Station. Madison Square Garden sports and concert arena sits over Penn Station, so this is also a handy stop before or after attending an event there. A number of the tap beers change on a strict calendar month basis, these tend to be the most interesting. There are two cask handpumps, with frequently changing offerings. A sister bar has opened in the Financial District. (4/2015)
