Alex says

Although the choice is quite small, most of the taps are well chosen in this friendly neighbourhood bar named after the owners' dog. The small rear area has no less than six retro pinball machines from the 80s and 90s, the husband-and-wife team who own the bar collect them. Hot bar snacks are available, including vegetarian samosas. Beers are advertised as 16oz measures, but if you want just 10oz you will be charged $2 less than the full pour (this is not advertised). There is a fair sized back yard which is under construction at the time of writing, and should be open soon hopefully. The space was converted from a butcher's shop, which it had been since at least the 1930s. Note that if you catch the eastbound B38 bus to here, this route unusually has two termini - it is only buses to Catalpa Avenue that go directly here. Metropolitan Avenue bound buses turn off five blocks before the bar, so check the destination before boarding. (9/2015)
