One of the best hybrid bars and beer stores in the city for rare brews.
Directions - S train to Park Place, turn right out of the station, walk west one block to Classon Avenue, turn right briefly.

A well thought out hybrid bar and beer store (also selling limited cheeses and pates), laid back and friendly. All 16 taps pour craft beer, and you can drink the bottles and cans on the premises if you wish. Each bottle and can has two prices on the tag, the higher one is what you pay to drink there. The majority of beers stocked are rare and eclectic, so can be justifiably pricey. The cheese and pate fridge at the far end is a nice touch to complement the fantastic range of beers. Bar snacks are served in the form of grilled cheese sandwiches, pretzels, plus meat and cheese boards. Some, but not all, of the taps are available for growler fills, these are listed on a blackboard behind the bar. Growlers are filled with a counter pressure system which means the head space is CO2 rather than air, preserving shelf life when unopened. The S train is very close, but this is a two carriage shuttle line which may not be that frequent in off hours, however you can easily walk from the Franklin Avenue 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 (some) station or the Franklin Avenue A / C station. To summarise, this place is simply brilliant. (9/2015)

Outstanding bottle shop/bar, though like near neighbour Gold Star Beer Counter, it's more of a bar than a bottle shop. The beer range here on our first visit (April 2017) was incredible. They also do superb grilled cheese sandwiches. This place is definitely a 'don't miss' beer destination.
