One of three Stouts in NYC, with an emphasis on that style. Very close to Grand Central Terminal.
Directions - 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / S train to Grand Central, exit from the main Metro-North concourse on East 42nd Street and Pershing Square, walk south briefly on Park Avenue on the west side of the flyover, turn right briefly on West 41st Street.
Alex says
In the shadow of Grand Central Terminal, this is the newest of the three Stout bars in NYC (one of which is around the same distance from the other main Manhattan rail terminal, Penn Station). There is an emphasis on beers of that style, though there are plenty of other styles on offer. If you're running early catching a train out of Grand Central (or have just leaped off one there), this is a handy place to kill some time. Adjacent to the entrance and exit can be found a TV monitor showing mainline Metro-North train departures. The place is bigger than it looks as there is a full size upper level in addition to the ground floor. (11/2015)
