Alex says

Just north of the towering rail viaduct upon which sits Queensboro Plaza subway station is this quirky side street bar. There is a small but decent range of craft beers, all from domestic breweries located in the north-eastern states. There's a tiny open kitchen at the back, next to a small 'snug' area with a couple of couches. The food menu specialises in burgers ('Beauty and the Beef'), though there are limited other options for vegetarians. Eccentrically, anyone who orders a bottle of champagne will learn the historical art of sabrage - where the top of the unopened bottle is literally beheaded in one blow by the impact of a sword. Don't try this at home... (12/2015)
