Fantastic, multi-levelled bar and store hybrid (more of a proper bar than others).

This is an absolute treat. Technically a hybrid bar and store, but it is more of a bar that sells beer in bottles, cans, and growlers to take away. Opened summer 2016, it is the sister bar to the original Beer Culture (q.v.) on West 45th Street. The main bar area is subterranean, while there is a small area on street level at the front. Also, up the stairs is a whole new level where darts and shuffleboard can be played. There is a small snug area. Note the chair made out of wooden cask staves, which appears to have come from Two Roads Brewery going by the plaque on it. As for the beers, all but one on tap are craft and there is a huge selection of bottles and cans. Service is friendly and efficient. Owner Matt Gebhard has created something special here, don't miss. This place is really good, but I don't think we were very lucky with the beer list we found on our first (April 2017). You will definitely find good beer here, however, and of course you can enjoy any of the bottles/cans on site if the draft list is lacking. Friendly and helpful service and a nice which we will definitely return.
