Smart, modern brewery taproom.

Directions - R train to 45th Street, walk south two blocks, turn right on 47th Street, cross under the overpass and continue ahead. Alternatively, from the NYC Ferry at Sunset Park (Brooklyn Army Terminal) head east on 58th Street, turn left on 2nd Avenue, turn right briefly on 47th Street.

Alex says

This is a modern, no expense spared, brewery and taproom housed in a former steel fabrication factory building. The only hint of its past is the cab of a crane on display in one corner. The area is spacious and service is friendly. The beers are of good quality, and are brewed on premises using a 30BBL system (fermenters are 60BBL, so double brews can be made). If coming here by ferry from Wall Street, note the Rockaway ferry is considerably faster than the South Brooklyn route as there are no intermediate dockings on the way. (8/2017)
