Alex says

A cool place to watch English football (soccer), and matches from elsewhere in Europe, with a great choice of beers on tap – there are 24 and all but about 5 are craft. Food is limited to pies and sandwiches, including both meat and vegan sausages. On Saturdays and Sundays, the bar will open early to show live English Premier League and international football matches. They are serious about both beer and football aspects, even matches shown on obscure channels can usually be seen here. Banter is definitely worth talking about. A cask line was installed February 2016, as a result I'm upgrading the blue tick (=very worthy, honourable mention) to a blue star (=a top pick of mine). (1/2015, updated 2/2016)
